It Is Well with My Soul

This time of year brings excitement for me. It always has.. When I was younger, this time of the year meant 1) My Birthday in September 2) October Halloween Parties.. 3) Fall Holiday Season.

My mom has always been super excited about Halloween, so that made me super excited about it.. and now, for those of you who see my girls on Facebook.. you see my girls are super excited about it! They Love the ghoulish Skeletons, Giant inflatables, and everything else that goes with it. I know people think its ridiculous that Cross loves the Bloody IT Clown next door, but that is her dude. She shows no judgement.. he's just a guy thats hanging on a garage that makes her happy when she see's him.. Its weird, I know it.. but its also pretty awesome to watch how kids can see something that we find ugly and scary, and turn it into their best friend.

I used to get to have the best Halloween parties. We had an awesome big red/white barn, So we could have the party no matter what kind of Weather. We would come to "The City".. lol.. which is what we country people call OKC, and go to "MG Novelty" which is closed now.. but it was like the Party City back then.. And buy all sorts of ridiculous decorations. It was seriously one of my favorite things to do. Then we would go home and mom would come up with more creepy stuff on her own.. Like one year she filled plastic gloves with Oatmeal so they were like dead hands.. We bought a Coffin and put a skeleton man in it.. We would make Red Punch with plastic fingers in it.. IT was a great time. I loved every second of it.. Then we would invite a bunch of people from school and we would all wear costumes. Everyone looked forward to it every year. I'm excited to be able to pass along the tradition to my girls. Although, Honestly, Cross started out being creepy on her own..

Cross and Cille still love the Inflatable "Giant" (AKA the Grim Reaper). He's back up in the back yard this year, and they love to watch him come alive in the mornings and go to sleep at night. Cille just ends up liking what Cross likes.. she's not scared of anything either. Cross does have a love for weird clowns. I can't say that I'm with her on that.. I don't really care for them.. but she thinks they are her people, so we just go with it. This year Cross is going to be a white Owl, and Cille is going to be an Octopus. I presented her with all kinds of cute costuming options.. a sweet kitty, a bear, a Horse.. but.. she chose the Octopus.. So there you go.

I also love this time of year because I love taking the girls to Pumpkin Patches.. If we back up.. this is about the time 3 years ago when I realized 1) I was pregnant, and 2) it was twins.. so anytime I feel the nip of fall in the air, It takes me back to a place of Joy, and sheer Terror.. at the thought of having twins, lol. But its a fun memory for Jordan and I to share and laugh about now. Especially thinking about when I told my mom and dad.. and My mom saying "See, I told you I was going to need more than one"..and My dad just being over the moon because "twins" had really never occurred to us! So this is one of my favorite times of year for sure. We are Taking the girls to a pumpkin patch this weekend in fact! There's so many great ones around here to choose from.

We had a great time at Balloon Fiesta last week! This was the girls first real Vacation-Trip, and they did really good. It was a 6 hour drive from Canute, so not too bad. The Awesome folks at Doug Gray Dodge in Elk City, hooked us up with a Tahoe, completed with DVD system.. so we traveled in Style! WE got there around 3 in the afternoon, and the girls wanted to go swimming. I had Tonsillitis, so I let them go with Gigi, Pa, and daddy.. They had a great time.

In the Mornings we went out to the "Mass Ascension" and watched them fly into the air. Pa went up into a balloon on the first day.. He had quite an exciting story to tell.. Once they took off, the Wind Changed and started blowing the Balloon into town (which they do NOT want) so they had to make a landing on private land  (which is Frowned upon).. the Wind blew their basket over and the skidded side-ways a bit in the basket, but thankfully everyone was ok. Pa told them how to get out of the field, and back to where the 'Chase team' can pick them back up. So he found the whole situation humorous, I'm pretty sure everyone else was freaked out! So it was a "bucket list" item for him complete with a great story!

The girls enjoyed the balloons. Especially the special shapes. They loved watching the Big Dragon, Owls, Witches, and Scarecrow. When Cille saw the witch she said "Hey Witch, I'm going to punch you in the face".. I have no idea why, but it made us laugh. We had a good trip. IT was a good one to take the girls too. Not too far, lots of fun things for them to look at, and they are still talking about it.. so win win. I won't lie.. we couldn't have done it without Gigi & Pa, and it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun! So thankful for Good Grandparents!

IN other Random news.. the weird growth in my mouth healed, so bonus for that. My mouth is so bizarre. I go to the oral surgeon Friday just to make sure its all ok. The Girls are still Loving going to Crossings on Tuesday/Thursday and its been so much fun to hear about their days. Its a fun time to be with them. They are trying at times, and they tag-team Jordan and I quite a bit.. but we are holding strong, and trying to Build little awesome people. There's a lot of days when I'm pretty sure I get everything wrong.. but when I have moments like this,I know we are doing something right..

There are just some things..

A couple of days ago, on my lunch hour.. I ran to Target to get Cille some Bananas and a few other things.. and as I was walking in.. A Very pregnant woman was pushing a (maybe) 1 year old baby into the store.. Singing loudly.. "The Baby Hippo sings and dances" in an ooshy gooshy baby voice. It was at that moment.. (or probably way before) that I realized there are some types of Mom that I am never going to be..

This used to upset me.. and to be honest, it still does sometimes. I am NOT like everyone else. I never have been. I'm not sure why, but I've always been a little different. I can remember as young as 3 or 4 playing by myself and putting on Concerts.. I was a very driven child. I thought I could change the world at a very early age by stirring a giant stick in the sand, and calling on "The Power of God".. (don't ask my mom about this.. she still finds it creepy).. Its never bothered me that I was an only child.. or that I played by myself a lot, because my imagination was insane. I mean the things I could come up with were bizarre.

Mom and I were discussing this yesterday.. Because we see inklings of this in Cross and it scares us, lol.. When Mom was watching the girls last weekend she let them watch a fish cartoon.. Well apparently the baby fish got taken away from their mom (temporarily) and Cross began to cry and cry.. Mom eventually had to just change the channel and tell her the fish was re-united.. She takes things like that HARD. I used to cry when My dad would spank my stuffed animals.. Now, if he spanked me, It wasn't that terrible.. but if he spanked my bunny, I would cry and cry.. I've always had a soft spot for stuffed animals. Still do.. and sadly I think this has spilled out onto Cross, because she is so tender to everyone of her babies..

So anyway, I've always been different. I didn't do things the "norm" did.. I didn't really know if I was ever going to get married, and I honestly didn't care. I was always busy with radio and school and teaching and volunteering and the other 245 things I liked to do, that I didn't feel "incomplete" because I wasn't married.. I also didn't see the point in marrying someone that you were going to want to divorce in 5 years.. I don't feel like I had a good handle on God's view of marriage until I met MJ. I don't even know if we had a good view of it when we got married, but I feel like learning God's expectations of marriage has sure helped ours.. and Continues to teach us things daily. I also truly believe that God built MJ just for me. He fills the voids where I can't, completes what I am missing, and understands how my heart works. I'm certainly glad I waited for him.

I didn't know if I would ever have kids.. I also didn't care too much about that. MJ and I were really happy in our lives at the time we decided to give it to to God. If he wanted us to have kids, we would and we would see what happened.. Man. God is funny isn't he? Twins? Wow. OK God, that was funny.. As blessed as I am now to have my two goats.. We decided at that moment when we gave it to God, that if we didn't have kids.. that would be ok too. We weren't going to go to great measures to make it happen.. we were going to be happy with that decision.. But as you can see, God is funny, and gave me 2 at a time.. ha ha! I wouldn't have it any other way..

But I've realized as I have gotten married, and had kids.. that I don't always do things like everyone else..and that is ok, But sometimes I let it get the best of me.. When I see other mom's writing all these amazing things that their kids do, and mine has just kicked me in the face.. Or how excited they are to stay home all day everyday with their kids.. and I'm thinking "I gotta get out of this house pretty quick or my head my fall off".. Or When a kid is having a full on temper tantrum, and I'm thinking.. man, I would beat their ... ... .... And the patient mom has a relaxes look on her face, not even concerned about it.. It baffles me. Partly because it seems unrealistic to me, and partly because I ENVY that.. Like I wish I was that patient, and showed that much grace all the time!! But I've realized neither one of those things is bad or good.. Its just different. Its a different way to go about life.. Not everyone does things the same way, and there is beauty, and freedom in that.

There is a lot of Mom-shaming in the world today.. People touting one way of doing things as 'better' and 'healthier' for your kid.. "Don't give them medicine! Vaccines are bad! Make sure you Vaccinate! Don't feed Formula! Breastfeeding is embarrassing! Don't let them eat Pizza! Only Put Essential Oils on them! Don't let them listen to music! Enroll them in private School!  Don't let them on IPADS! Don't let them watch TV! Get them in Gymnastics! Why aren't they playing Soccer! Public School teaches them Life!! Why don't you let them stay home, they are only little once!"

I mean its really never ending.. And the point is.. Everyone's going to do it differently.. and that is Perfectly Awesome. What works for one, doesn't always work for another.. And what makes one smile, can make another one frown. The best way we can be good to our kids is by being good to our God.. being good spouses.. and being good to ourselves. So whatever that is for YOU.. Be ok with it. I struggle with it everyday.. but I'm happy to have always danced to the beat of my own song.. Usually a song I made up.. and sang to my stuffed animals, or my Grandparents out front on the lawn..So there's that.

The Wonderful World of Thomas..

So my girls are not usually 'into' what every other kid in the world is into it seems.. Like the whole "Frozen" thing.. I have put it on several times.. They just don't care about it. I feel like they are a choice few who are not.. but I can honestly say I'm not sad that I don't have to hear "Let it go" 235 times a day..

My girls have always liked.. 1) Daniel Tiger, 2) Bubble Guppies, 3) Sofia the 1st. out of those, they really like Bubble guppies the best. But.. Recently they started loving trains. The Church library has a train table and they love playing with it every Wednesday when we are there.. The Church was a lot smarter about their train table.. They SCREWED IN the tracks.. SMART. SMART.. Why you say? Because our train track looks like a sad mess. No tracks together.. no buildings standing up.. Just sad. In my defense, I tried to glue it.. but they magically tore up the glue.. So.. I'm either going to have to get out the hammer or screws soon for our train table..

Anyway I digress.. Because they have started liking trains.. the only Real "train" toys.. is Thomas the train. Now.. I have seen Thomas a few times.. but when I found the show on TV I have to admit... Thomas The Train is Creepy. Its a Creepy Show.. They have these trains that ride around on Tracks with giant faces on the front of them.

The Crane that puts stuff onto the trailers of the Trains is named "Cranky".. I mean that does not sound fair. Would you want to be named "Cranky".. I feel like it auto puts the Crane guy in a bad mood.. But they are all a little weird. The animated one is better than the older one that looks like stick people and clay trains.. but the faces are odd.. of course the girls now love this, so I'm resigned to watching Thomas.. and James.. and Spencer.. and Cranky Apparent. Welcome to Toddler Life.
So the girls went to Western OK last weekend.. They are talking NON stop now, both of them.. and they love to face-time with their grandparents.. Although every-time Gigi Calls to talk to Cille, Cille says "Gigi, where's Pa?".. Mom came and got them last Friday and they had a big time. They went to Pops and Grammy's on Saturday to play with Ava.. They always have a good time when they go to the farm.. but now they never want to come back.. Which sometimes makes me sad.. because I have to convince them to come home with me.. But when you think about it, why would any kid want to come home from their grandparents house? Here's what they get to do at the Grandparents house:
1) Cross drinks Coffee With Gigi every morning
2) Cille wears her PJ's as a Superhero Cape
3) Cross takes off her clothes, gets under a soft blanket, and then has Gigi give her back rubs.
4) They both eat Maraschino cherries out of a Jar.
5) At Pops & Grammy's they drink Sweet Tea and Limeade
6) They eat whatever they want at all hours of the day
7) They go to bed whenever they want to
8) They Get up whenever they want to
9) They have someone to push them on the swing for like 24 hours straight
10) They play in the hay, feed cows, and feed their Donkey Kris
11) Pops and Grammy have a room that is filled to the brim with toys.. that they get to go in, destroy, and not even pick up after themselves!
So yeah.. after I read over that.. I would also only want to stay at my grandparents house! I always wanted to stay with my grandma Leona. She kept me while my parents were at work when I was little.. and when I think back about why I loved being with her so much.. its because she made my time with her ALL ABOUT ME. I remember sitting in the floor and us playing marbles.. Eating Cherry pie filling right out of the can.. Building forts in the middle of the living room with sheets and cushion.. Going to the TG&Y and getting to pick out a new stuffed animal to take home (EVERY TIME WE WENT TO THE STORE)..We would play Old Maid.. or Hide & Seek.. It was like every moment I was at her house, Her own world stopped because she was only there to be with me.
I'd imagine that is what every kid wants. Just to have someone want to spend time with them. I think with me having twins its sometimes hard to just let time stand still and just "BE" with them.. I'm always trying to cook supper.. or get them ready for church.. Or Rush around to this or that.. But all they really want me to do is just sit down and be WITH them.                                                                                                                                                                             This morning before I left for Work, much like every morning.. Cross wants "Mommy, sit by you".. that is all she wants. Me to just sit with her in whatever she is doing. Watching TV, Playing, whatever it is.. she just wants me to be present with her, because that is what is most important to her.. And I think that is why grandparents are so awesome.. For that weekend, or that day, or those hours they have them.. its all about The girls, and they love it. Parents have so much responsibility that we rush around and don't always get to enjoy the moments with them, but Grandparents just sit and wait for you to bring them over so they can soak up every drop of their childlike sweetness. That is Awesome, and something I'm so grateful for those moments.

On our weekend of Freedom, MJ & I went out to dinner with Friends, and over to visit my brother Randy's new Baby, Harper.. I didn't hold her.. Because I barely wanted to hold my own babies.. so I just admired her from afar, lol.. Having my own babies didn't make me any less scared of other babies.. so there's that.
I think our favorite thing about "No kid weekend" is sleeping past 5:30am. We both go to work early, and the girls have always Woke up early.. so getting to sleep till 7 is magic..

The Michael Jackson Party Planning is in full swing. I have to say, I think I probably get more excited about it than the girls.. They stop whatever they are doing if Michael comes on and immediately start dancing around the room. Here's some ridiculous things the girls have been doing lately.. Cille now knows all the words to "Joy Joy Joy" and sings it into her Karaoke Mic.. Cross still likes to sing "Santa Claus is coming to town" and "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay"

Cross gets upset anytime someone gets onto her, or onto Cille and she will say "Hey, quit being mean to me".. Not realizing that dicipline is probably going to be considered 'mean' for the rest of her life. She also points a crooked finger at you while saying this. They have started being sweet to each other a little.. and giving each other hugs. Cross will say "HI _____ I've missed you!" and then give you a hug. They both now say "TRUST ME" because Leslie says that to them.. so they will look at you and say "TRUST ME"..

They love the new swingset. LOVE it. We got it from someone in our neighborhood who was moving. We have no idea if we got it at a good price or not, We paid $575 for it.. but.. We didn't have to put it together, so that was worth that alone! Plus Kenny at All Star Moving and Storage Moved it for us and put it back together.. So if you ever have things like that you need done, or furniture moved in your house, call All Star Moving.. 405-399-3004 Love those guys!

The only other thing I have to tell you about, is a new Page I joined on Facebook where you can buy ridiculously Cute outfits for a fraction of the boutique prices you would pay elsewhere.. Its called "Spades Boutique".. Just hit "Join" and you can get in on the deals as well!... you're Welcome.

Tis The Season.. to choke on Holiday Spirit..

Well.. Christmas has been entertaining to say the least.. Where do I start..

Well lets begin at my company Christmas Party.. Each Year the Loves family does an amazing party lunch for the employees. Its a lot of fun, great food, and a good time to visit with your co-workers.. Which is exactly what I was doing... Until... I put that delicious last morsel of steak into my mouth.. Cooked to Perfection.. just delightful.. So delightful it wanted to stay in my throat.. Yup, it was Biscuit-gate 2.0.

I tried water.. Tried Swallowing several times.. Nope. Not happening. Ironically my co-worker, Lovero, who was sitting with me during the first Biscuit-gate 1 incident was also at my table this time..  So he says "Oh No! Not again!!".. I'm also sitting with both of my Bosses.. One of them, Casey, looks at me.. "Whats going on?"---
Lovero, "its ok, she chokes a lot".. lol..
Me--Yeah, this seems to keep happening..things just get stuck in my throat..
Casey: Are you ok?
Me--I will be.. I'll be right back..

So then I have to go into the bathroom and silent gag (because this is a big place and there are a lot of people) and cough up the dang steak.. It works. I go back..  All is well.. but after this day, I called, made the appointment to get 'scoped' in the throat, and see if they can 'blow it up' to be back to normal.. When I went to the Dr, he said its most likely a stricture in my esophagus, or that it has narrowed.. either way, they go in with a scope and blow it back up.. I'm sedated. and my throat is numb.. so hopefully this will be an easy procedure and fix the issue..   So there's that..

After that Christmas went pretty smoothly. Pa &  Gigi kept the girls for a few days at the farm so MJ and I could build train sets, wrap presents, and fill stockings.. Cross has loved her Elf on the Shelf.. Eliza.. She doesn't really do anything. We broke all the rules and let her carry her around. She basically just "hid" treasures for Cross.. She loved her. She's still asking about her now.. I told her she went to take a nap.. Like the Giant, the Bloody Clown from the Neighbors house, and Santa.. (Hey, you do what you gotta do).. Gigi & Pa took the Girls to the Park in Elk City to "ride the ponies"and see the lights. They had a blast. I'm pretty sure they would live there and never miss Jordan and I.. At one point mom said "Cross likes to take off her clothes, wrap up in a soft blanket, have me rub her back and feed her berries"... Um. Yeah. Who DOESN'T"T???

So on the 22 we went to the farm to begin Christmas. We went to my dads on the 23. We had a big time there.. Girls played with Cousin Joe & Ava.. Those 4 are a mess, but they are all so good.. We never saw them.. they just played and ran and raced down the hallways.. We didn't go bother them unless we heard crying, or fighting.. but there wasn't much of that. They all love playing together. We had a great time down there.. Then on Christmas Eve Sant came to Gigi's house! He brought the girls a big 4 wheeler Power Wheels.. However, they were kinda weirded out by it, and didn't really ride it.. I think they will though.. They loved all their goodies. Cross had the best time with her Tea set.. Serving everyone Tea.. Cille loved her magnets.. They both loved their Karoke Machine! Lots of fun things to play with!
Then we went back home on Christmas Eve and to our Christmas Eve Service at Church. Oh man. It was so amazing. I LOVED it.. Its one of my favorite services. They turn out the lights and everyone lights candles to represent the Light of the World coming to us on Christmas Day.. So awesome, and so was the Choir.. They sang my favorite.. Listen in.. GLORIOUS IMPOSSIBLE

Then on Christmas day.. Santa Brought the girls a train set! They were so excited.. Traims! Traims! Thats what Cille says.. They loved it.. They tore it all to hell in about 10 min.. but hey, they loved it.. Cross got a "Monster".. she loves him.. among some other babies.. magnets.. little people.. and everything else known to man. They had a blast. After that we went to GT & Nana's and they got even more stuff! It was a great Christmas..

On Saturday Jordan's mom came over for yes.. thats right... another Christmas! We all had a fun time because she brought the girls a tee pee, so they had fun with that.. But then the weather came in that night and pretty much ruined my trees again.. They are still without power at the farm.. And to top it off, we have a Huge earthquake in the night.. Geez Oklahoma Weather..

I went back to work on Monday.. I was ready.. 7 days at home All day Er' Day with the girls was plenty.. I've since Hot-glued their train about 10 times.. I'm sure I'll do it 10 more.. But they love it, and I love that they love it. I love that they have great Grandparents who love and spoil them. I love our Church, I love our friends.. It was a very blessed Holiday Season. I want them to stay this size forever because watching things through their eyes is magical.. Every snow flake, every new present, every new tradition is something new and magical for them. I know we won't be able to capture these moments forever, but they are so much fun to watch right now.. We will enjoy it while we can! Hope you guys stayed warm, have power, and had a good Christmas!

Please help me I'm falling...

Lets talk about falling today shall we?

First off.. I apologize in advance, but I can't help by laugh when people stumble and fall.. Not in life, but like really fall down. Like if they trip.. or slip.. or just fall. It sends me into hysterical laughter. I will laugh and laugh.. and then I can even start laughing again sitting at my desk and thinking about it the next day. Falling is funny. I think its so humerus to me, because I do it so frequently..

In College I actually Fell UP the stair to the Swosu Science building.. I fell so badly that my toes were bleeding.. I also fell DOWN the hill at the SWOSU Admin building.. Southwestern is a very hilly campus.. I fell down the hill and rolled by.. while cars were driving.. It was pretty humiliating, but I still can laugh thinking about it.

Anytime there is any sort of moisture on any type of pavement, sidewalk, or walking area.. I fall. No matter what.. Even if I'm not walking near it.. my shoe will somehow find its way to it, and I slip.. Usually I'm pretty stellar at catching myself before I fall all the way down on the ground.. but still.. You know if people are watching me, then they are laughing at the ridiculous amount of balance and care I am trying to control in NOT falling all the way down.

I used to wear cute, fabulous shoes with heels.. Until I kept falling down.. Last year at my brothers birthday party at Iron Star.. I got up to to to the bathroom. I was wearing Dansko heeled shoes.. Just walking to the bathroom.. nothing in my way.. No water on the floor..nothing. I managed to slip and fall.. But.. I wasn't going down alone.. I went ahead and grabbed 2 people sitting at a table near me, and took them down too. It was pretty humiliating.. and I'm also laughing as I think about it now.. MJ was there.. he was laughing too.. as was the whole bar. Score one for me! I haven't worn those shoes since then.. because I fear them.

Oh, and lets not forget me falling through the attic that one time.. that was stellar.. Nothing like that to get your blood boiling.. So I fall.. A Lot.. But it still makes me happy when other people fall too. I love it when people stumble or fall, then look around like they think you didnt' see them.. I always ask them if they are ok.. but I'm also laughing at the time. I'm sorry.. I can't help it.. it just makes me giggle so bad. So.. If I fall down, feel free to laugh.. because if you fall.. its on. I'll help you up, but it will be in the midst of me laughing at you for doing it.. You're welcome.

On a different note.. Girls had a fun Trick or Treat Weekend.. We went to the Fall Carnival At Crossings.. It was pouring outside, so everything had to be inside and it was a bit of a madhouse.. a million kids in church.. But it was fun. They had trick or treating, bounce houses, marshmallow fountains, Popcorn and punch.. Lots of fun! Mom came up and went with us..

We also went to Storybook Forest in Aracadia last week.. Loved it, and so did the girls.. and then We went to Parkhurst in Arcadia last week.. The girls met a sweet pony, rode the horsies (as Cross says) and had a big time on the haybales and swing. Very fun time of the year! Next weekend is Connor's birthday party (in our small group at church) so we get to go to Orr Family Farms! So excited for that too!

On Halloween we took the girls around our neighborhood and we had a blast. Our new neighborhood is the best! Lots of kiddos and the girls really liked going up and getting Candy. Suckers are their favorite by far.. and gummi Life Savers! We had a great time! The Giant is still up in the back yard.. Cross made friends with the bloody clown and death guy hanging from our neighbors tree.. She has been going over daily to visit them.. However, they took them down this week.. that was not good. We had to tell her the Clown was taking a nap and would be back next year.. She still asks for him. I'm not sure how long the Giant will stay up.. He may be a year round staple in our yard, b/c she really loves him, and he entertains her..

House is almost put together. Our new Farm Table came in this week, and its freakin aweome. David James Tables made it.. He and his dad just out working in the shop, building farm tables. We LOVE it so much.. ITS AMAZING. Will be an heirloom that we can pass down. Its our favorite thing!!

Easter Awesomeness

We had an amazing Easter. If you have ever been to Crossings for Easter, then you know there is no shortage of magic happening. We went to church.. A LOT.. lol.. But what better place to be around Easter!

On Monday I had Women's Bible Study.. Wednesday we had Small group.. Thursday we went to the Maundy Thursday Service.. Friday we went to Good Friday..and Saturday we went to the Easter Service. Marty had asked us 'regulars' to go to the Saturday service so that more people who were visiting the church could fit in on Sunday, so we did that. We met some friends there, and brought some friends of our own.. I could have picked better seats, but other than that, we had an Amazing Easter Service. My parents came up and we had a full day of fun Easter Activities.

We took the girls to look for Eggs at Classen Curve. They had an Easter Bunny there and it was all Cross could talk about.. "Da Bun. Da Bun." So when she saw him.. she waved really big..but thats where it ends. She didn't want to sit with him, or by him.. just loved him from afar.. she Still loves looking at his picture.

Classen Curve also had a bounce house. Cross loves these. She's a beast.. She flails and throws her body against the sides, and jumps.. Londyn prefers sitting in the bouncer and letting the other kids bounce her.. they had a good time. Then we all walked over to Uppercrust and had some Delish pizza.. All was well until Cross took JA and launched him across the table spilling Pa's tee.. Crosslee has a cannon for an arm. Her aim is unreal accurate, and her power is bizarre.. There's a reason we call her Crosszilla.. It was a great time.

Then last weekend we went to Sentinel to see Pops and Grammy.. and Cousin Ava, Joe, Luke, and 2nd cousin Everly were all there to play. It was like the running of the bulls! Cross & Ava became best friends and held hands running around the house.. Londyn did her own thing, and once Joe arrived Ava, Cross & Joe ran wild with their stick horses.. Only one episode of crying when Cross threw a block at Ava.. We are going through a 'throwing' phase right now.. its not great.. but I think its hard to understand as a Toddler why its ok to throw a ball.. but not ok to throw a rock.. So we are working on it.. Good news is she says "I Sowee"and Ava said "Iss Okay".. then they go right back at it.. Its pretty cute. They are all within 8 months of each other, so they are now getting to the age where its really fun for them to be together. And Really fun to watch.. they keep each other entertained. Ava & Cross would just laugh and laugh.. LL likes to watch them, but she's not sure about jumping in the middle of it just yet.. I can't blame her there.. Cross is a beast.

Tammy Hall took Easter Pics for us.. OMGOSH..She did amazing. She does Amazing work. She has an indoor and outdoor studio, and her back yard is an oasis..so beautiful. She took so many good pics in such a short amount of time. She had a live bunny and he was so cute.. Cross loved him, and gave him some pets, kisses, hugs, and yogurt melts.. Check Tammy's stuff out at Tammy Hall Photography. She offers excellent packages with super deals. Look at some of these pics..

So we loved them.. We also stopped and took some pics in the beautiful Canola.. I took a picture in it when I was 35 weeks Pregnant.. took some of the girls last year... so we had to take some this year too..

Canola pics are easy to take.. because the fields are so pretty.. Plus we were able to drive right up to it, so thats helpful.

After we left Sentinel we went to Canute to see Gigi & Pa.. Pa put the girls in his "Calf-catcher".. for those that are not aware of this device.. its a device that he hooks to his 4 wheeler.. and when a new calf is born and he needs to give it shots and ear-tag it, he rides it up alongside the Calf and 'catches' the calf in there.. The cage protects both him and the calf.. making farm life much easier than getting trampled by a crazy mama cow.. So here's a little video of that magic.. because it can also be used as a fun Twin Ride!

So as you can see.. Pa is always coming up with fun things for them to do at the farm. I worry about the day when they don't want to come home with me anymore.

So we have had a great couple of weeks. Excited that Spring is here! Keep on Twinning!!!
