Wow.. You look really Pregnant".. Yeah, well thats what happens

Well hello everyone.. I'm now 34 weeks (as of tomorrow) which means I've made it to the home stretch.. They say babies born within this time are usually healthy and good to go, so what a blessing! Babies are BIG.. Especially Baby B.. at this time a normal singleton baby should weigh about 4 3/4 pounds.. My babes are 4.15, and 5.8 pounds! Which is great.. means their lungs, brains, and hearts are all bigger, and they will do much better when they come out..

We had another ultrasound on Monday.. Of course Baby A is facing my back and refuses to turn around.. We saw Baby B but her eyes were open, and she looked kinda odd, but we did see her perfectly formed ears! The Ultrasound tech kept poking on her with the wand, and she did NOT like that.. she always pokes back. She's feisty.. A doesn't like it when I sit down wit my legs up, or when I wear a pregnancy belt.. she will constantly kick it.. She has had the hiccups lately which results on a constant thump.. thump.. thump.. on my lower belly.

I go see Dr. Goff tomorrow and we will be scheduling my C Section then.. Will probably be around May 27th. For those of you wondering, hell yes I'm having a C section.. why women would want to have anything else, I do not know.. Especially with twins.. Push two giant babies out? No thank you..thats just silly to me. Plus its not as healthy for the babies.. chances are you could push one out, and then the other one could be in distress and they would have to do a C section anyway.. So whats the point? With a C section I don't mess up my hair, makeup, etc.. and their heads look great with no stress to their little baby bodies.. Sounds like the best solution to me!

These women that are insane about giving birth naturally blow my mind.. I mean they honestly feel CHEATED by not getting to push watermelons out of peanut size openings.. What the hell? Cheated is losing your job when you did everything to keep it.. Cheated is having your paycheck furloughed because the government can't get their crap together.. Having a C section is NOT being cheated.. Think about the health of your babies, and yourself.. its insane. Yet I keep running into more and more of them that tell me how "cheated' I'm going to feel for having a C-section.. Yeah yeah.. You have fun with that.. I'll be just fine.

In other news this weather is dumb. I'm sick of it.. Brandon came over and helped MJ clean up the flower beds, and we plant all this lovely stuff and now we are going to have temps in the 20's? Get it together Winter.. its not your time.. Move on. I decided it would be cool to plan some of the flowers myself.. IT was sexy I tell you.. I'm out in the yard with garden gloves on, and on my hands and knees planting them.. except, Oopsie, I can't get back up.. awesome. So I roll over on all four's and hoist myself, only to find that my tank top has now ridden up leaving my giant twin belly exposed to the world and my neighbors who are probably looking out their windows and pointing and laughing wondering what the hell is wrong with me to begin with.. Well I can't pull my tank top down because my hands have mud all over them from the flower bed. Sweet.. So I try to hurry and wash them off, pull down my shirt, and put away the shovel.. Whoever told you pregnancy is bliss has obviously not tried to plant flowers at 33 weeks pregnant.. Welcome to my life. I paid dearly for it the next day with awful back pain, and my crotch dying. so Lesson learned on that deal.

Baby A is also laying on some nerve or something because after sitting awhile my leg just dies.. It doesn't go to sleep it just won't move anymore.. It happened the other day in a restaurant. When we got up to leave, my leg wouldn't work and I almost fell down trying to get out of the chair.. Then I began limping around like a tool until it started to work again.. It bizarre.. An adventure everyday I tell ya! I also may or may not have ridden the electronic hover round at Homeland the other day.. and I also may have loved it.. Don't judge me.

You know what the other cool thing is? People at work saying the most ridiculous things to me.. Keep in mind, I'm in IT, so I work with a bunch of men.. This is what I have heard so far this week "OMG. How are you still able to walk" "OMG you look SOO PREGNANT" "WOW, your Belly is really protruding!" "You look like you could pop at any second" "I kinda want to touch your belly, but its scary" "Are you due like Now?"... Yes.. welcome to the world of considerate men.. lol.. Thankfully this is all humorous to me. I'm aware of how pregnant I look.. I walk around with it everyday and sigh a little when I walk past a mirror.. However, we are nearing the finish line, so I'm very blessed and happy to keep carrying them until they are cooked all the way through. God is good!!

Here's what's Awesome..

So here we are.. 22 weeks pregnant. I can now sortof feel the babies now, but hell, I've never been pregnant before, so I'm not really sure what I can feel.. Jordan felt one of them kick a little bit the other day, but so far they are not beating me up, so that is nice.. I realize that they are going to have a really cool bond, and I'm excited about that.. These two little guys in this video make me laugh!!

About 2 weeks ago I had to go to labor and delivery.. I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid (don't google..it never results in  good news).. so I call my Dr, and he's actually in training that day so they send me to the Triage unit at Mercy.. Those folks are awesome over there, but I really didn't think anything was wrong.. Sure enough, I was right, and I was just peeing myself.. Go ahead.. Laugh.. Get it out.. I  know.. The jokes on me.. I have had overactive bladder since my 20's, so you can only imagine what being pregnant with twin girls does to my bladder.. They sit on it, and apparently I pee myself. Awesome. But... glad everything was good.

I've decided that I'm gradually getting annoyed with things people say to me when they find out I'm having twins.. It reminds me of this:
People are constantly saying to me
"Do Twins run in your family?".. Well not really.. I mean I think I have some 5th cousins or something that are twins..
"Are they paternal?".. Well yes, they do have a father.. That would be MJ.
"Oh, you're going on bed rest huh?".. Well now that's a negative attitude to have! I hope not! I'm trying to do everything in my power to keep that from happening, so don't remind me about it.
"Twins..What are you going to do about that?!".. Um, well nothing..You can't really give one back.
"Holy Moly, the diapers! Are you going with re-usables?".. No. I am trying to keep my sanity, so no.
"Wow, you are going to be huge"..thanks captain obvious.. I already feel that way, but thanks for making me feel worse.
"Do you have Names?" Um, no.. My husband and I are at odds on this one.

Those are just a few of my fav's.. I get many more.. but mainly people are just overly excited.. Like random people walk up to me in stores when they hear me talking to sales people and offer twin excitment.. its odd, but fun.

We went to dinner with my friend Kristen & Her hubby Mike the other night.. They have a 4 month old little boy and I was sitting there thinking "There's no way I'll be able to eat in public for like 9 months".. lol..The Baby was great! But can you imagine me waltzing in with 2 sets of everything! We'd be like a spectacle.. and that's assuming the girls weren't flailing about and acting wild! I'm pretty sure when traveling with twin girls we are going to be quite a site.

MJ & I went to our first baby class a couple of weeks ago. Its called "Preparing for Multiples".. it was really good. We took it at Baptist because that is the only place that offers it.. It was 2 weeks in a row, and really great. I had to laugh though when they showed me the "Double football hold" for breastfeeding..The other irony to me is that there are women in the world that let you PHOTOGRAPH them double football holding their twins and breastfeeding.. (I'll spare you the pics, but if you are just dying to see, you can click HERE) What the hell! Why!! I'm quickly realizing that there is just no way to be cool while breastfeeding twins.. In fact, my cool days are probably over pretty soon..However, I've led a pretty cool life for awhile now, so probably about that time.. especially if I end up driving a sweet mini van! You can't imagine the food I'm supposed to be eating.. 3500 calories/day, like 8 servings of protein, 2 of eggs, 6 of dairy, 6 fruits, 6 vegetables, etc.. and then a GALLON of water.. Well great.. Just hook me up to a catheter.. awesome.

We got the other crib in.. We'll probably put that up this weekend, and by ME, I mean MJ doing it, while I sit and chat with him and try to help, until he takes all my tools away and shoo's me out of the room.. We also ordered my rocking chair, and the twins Pink Fluffed bunny Chair.. I know, I know..they probably don't NEED a fluffed bunny chair, but I kinda feel like I need one, so in turn they need one. If they made them for adults you can bet your sweet bippy I'd be sitting on one right now to help my aching tailbone!

I go back to Dr. Mirable today for another ultrasound. They are moving around right now.. someone told me to eat skittles before I go to the appointment and they will move around..but with baby B, she is always on the move, so I don't think I need skittles.. Hopefully we'll get some good pictures this time. Last time they didn't really pose.

Should have the nursery almost finished soon.. I'll post pics when we do. We are having a lady come over and paint a tree in there and then will decorate the branches.. I have a few fun, glittery numbers to hang on the walls, so it should be pretty fabulous when I'm done. 16 weeks to go!!

I still feel like I'm getting kicked in the crotch everyday, and of course I Pee every 5 minutes.. oh, and my uterus is still exploding..but other than that, I'm powering though!! Here's a Baby Bump pic with me and Miss Pays at 21 weeks! The dog babes are still being weird and 'nesting' my stomach.. lol..They must know something is up. Payslee wants to lay on top of it, and Sawyer wants to lay right by it.. They are my sweet birds.

Its a kick in the crotch.. literally.

Well.. I'm now almost 21 weeks, and I can tell you that having twins is literally a kick in the crotch.. I wake up in the morning, go pee in the night, sit at work during the day, and its all a kick in the crotch. I've *heard* that these so-called Pregnancy Belts are supposed to help, but so far its not helping me.. I've ordered two different ones, and I'm sitting on something called a Coxxys cusion at work.. For what? Yup.. a Kick in the crotch.

WE had a pretty productive weekend.. ON Saturday Lauren came over to help MJ paint the nursery. We decided on a light turquoise, because the colors of the bedding have turquoise in it.. I also (I'm sure you will be shocked by this) went to Lowe's and bought this glitter stuff you dump into the paint and it makes the paint glittery when it goes on the walls. MJ was scared at first because I dumped two packages into the gallon of paint.. but it looks awesome! Its not that glittery (I could have dumped another bag in there) but it shimmers and looks really pretty with the turquoise..

So then we headed off to babies R Us where I had 20% off coupon to use on the cribs.. WEll in case you didn't know, you get 10% off there for Twins when you buy two of something.. So we picked out our cribs and come to find out they had one in the back, so we took it home and ordered the other.. I was dreading have MJ put it together.. because while this IS a mans chore, its a chore no man really WANTS.. However, he powered through with his crescent wrench and away we went! I helped (and by help I mean I held the screws)  and it looked awesome when we got it together! The bedding is supposed to be in today, so its all just coming along. MJ has been pretty great.. I can imagine that it is not the greatest of fun to be married to a pregnant woman. Yesterday I went to 1smartcookie, and bought him an amazing iced sugar cookie.. He had a bite of it, and then I ate the rest of it..damn. My bad. I'm also thinking that at some point he's going to have to help me get out of the bathtub.. I love my bathtub, but its deep and awesome.. and I'm not going to be able to get out of it much longer unless my triceps kick it up a notch.

Last night we went to our first of many classes.. This one was called "Preparing for Multiples".. IT was awesome.. I tell you, being pregnant with twins is Way different that being pregnancy with one! You don't want to even know how much food I'm possibly supposed to eat in one setting.. Or the fact that I went from first trimester, to third with no magical "2nd trimester bliss" that others have. Its not plesant, but I'm going to power through & grow these babies into fluffy bunnies!
The Multiples class continues next week, but the other classes don't start until March.. March.. geez.. I'm thinking that I'll be like a giant back-ho with a beep...beep...beeep sound coming from my stomach by March.. I'll start my 3rd trimester on March 22. I have a checkup tomorrow with my regular OB (Dr. Goff at Mercy) and then I go back to the Perinatal Center (Dr. Mirable) for another Ultrasound on Feb 8. Everything makes me nervous.. being that I've never been pregnant before, I have no idea what is normal and what is not.. Here's my advice: Don't google.. it results in tumors and terrible images.

We still have no names.. Oh sure, I have some awesome names I love.. but MJ hates every. single. name. I. come. up. with.. so at this point, I'm not trying to name them with him anymore.. I'm just going to call them "A' and "B" until they come out, and they may leave the hospital with those names too! We can't agree on any names, and it doesn't look like there will be any compromise in that department anytime soon.. Its ironic to me that men act so insane about names.. Everyone has told us the most 'fair' thing is for him to name one, and me name one.. He said to me "No, we can't do that.. I hate your names so bad it will cause me to not like that child you named".. lol.. Geez.. I know its not fair to say, but as a girl you think.. "When you get kicked in the crotch all day.. then you can come to me with names".. go figure.

Thanksmaseve day

Well, hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.. We did.. We went to the farm and took the dog babes.. They always love it out there, so many new smells and things to see.. We had a great Thanksgiving Dinner.. Mom and I didn't do much Black Friday shopping.. It doesn't have the same Zeal in Elk City & Burns Flat as it does in OKC, lol.. We did go and decorate a Christmas tree... she took Junior and I took Payslee. AS you can see in the pic, they are being good helpful babes..

Afterward we went to Elk City to re-stock the Dog store "Woofs gone wild" at the Attic door.. I put a tutu on Miss P and she flitted around "Look at me.. Look how cute I am" and wouldn't you know, we sold 3 tutu dresses.. Lol.. I swear thats why they loved her working at Paws Around Town! She's a Natural salesgirl!

While we were out doing that stuff, MJ, Steve & Randy were off Deer hunting. MJ has had all the 'hunting' stuff for a long time now with nothing to hunt.. So being that its deer season and my family is quite skilled at deer hunting they took him out on our land where he shot this 8pt Buck.. He wasn't that keen on skinning/gutting the deer..but he powered through.. We are going to make jerky and deer sausage out of the deer, and of course he is getting it mounted to hang in our house.. (Lucky Me) lol.. I'm sure it will end up in his man cave anyway..

We went and saw my dad on Thanksgiving evening.. Got to visit with my new niece and nephew, Ava, and Joe.. I was amazed at all the baby stuff it takes to have ONE baby, lol.. It was all over the living room! lol.. They were both very cute and dolled up for the Holidays.. Joe loves rocking in his swing, and Ava loves people to carry her around.. Either of those things sounds pretty great to me! lol

Here they are hanging out in their Grammie Gowns.. Ava is on the left, and Joe on the right.. they are pretty jolly...

MJ & I got out all the Christmas stuff.. We put up the tree. Its MJ's Black tree, and I filled it wih glitter ornaments.. He says it looks like Hobby Lobby threw up on it.. whatever.. Men dont know about glitter..  We are going to put up the Christmas lights this weekend.. there is a guy across the street from us who has went all out.. with inflatables, lights, candy canes, etc.. We have to do something to be able to hang with him and not be shamed out of the neighborhood..

We took our mini Vacation to Beavers Bend 2 weeks ago.. It was fun.. We had a cute little Cabin and the dogs loved running and jumping in all the leaves.. It was in the middle of nowhere, so after 2 days of it, we got bored.. but it was nice to get away.. very pretty up by Broken Bow..

I went to a baby shower for a girl in my Sunday school class on Sunday.. I know you all will be shocked by this.. but I am TRULY not a joiner.. It took everything I had to even get myself there.. I dont know very many people in my class yet, and the idea of walking into a house of people I dont know is not appealing to me.. Especially to a baby shower.. but I powered through.. It ended up being a really good time, and people enjoyed my ridiculous tales of my life.. So I'm glad I put my fear behind me.. but man, I wish it wasn't so socially awkward for me. People think that because I was on the radio and so loud and entertaining that it meant I was that way in real life.. No.. I mean think about it folks: I was talking to MYSELF in a room BY MYSELF for 5 hours.. lol.. I'm actually pretty introverted when it comes to things like that.. Shhh.. dont tell.. I'm pretty good at faking it, lol.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Glad. Election. Is. OVER.

Who was sick of election crap? Yup, me too.. It got so bad on facebook that I actually had to quit reading it.. I have one friend who is just an insane liberal.. I can't listen to him anymore.. Reading his posts makes me angry.. Not because he's a liberal, but because he's sooo far left that he never even considers any other thoughts..

I didn't care for either candidate.. I thought they both sucked. I really thought we could have come up with two better ones out of all the people in the world.. but I still went out and voted because I do appreciate the right to do so.. I think right now the country is so polarized with being SO LEFT or SO RIGHT that it makes it impossible to get things done.. I sure do hope that changes eventually.. So needless to say, I'm glad its over!!

Well in happier, more awesome news.. I won Chesaween 2012!! First place!! All by myself too, so I didnt' have to share the goods, lol.. I dressed up as a giant traffic light with a traffic cone hat and sang a parody song of Frank Sinatra's "MY Way" called "You can't go THIS way" about parking and construction on the Chesapeake Campus.. it was a good song, so I'm glad I won.. There were some awesome costumes.. Light "Thunder gnome" & The Jamiacan bob sledders.. It was a fun event.. and I'm so thankful to work for a company that lets you take half a day off to go to a Halloween party!! Awesome!!

Next week Jordan & I are taking our mini-honeymoon and going to a Cabin at Beaver Bend.. We get to take the dog babes, so they are excited to be in a cabin and see the wilderness.. It will be a nice relaxing weekend.. Then the weekend after that its Thanksgiving! Can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner!

Not much else going on.. Been watching the TV show "Nashville".. its pretty good.. Also been loving "American Horror Story"..but dang.. that one is scary.. Still watching the VOICE and I made the mistake of watching XFACTOR last night..but man, its just not that good.. and Britney Spears looks terrible..They put Khloe Kardashian on that show as a host, and she is almost as terrible as Brooke Burke on Dancing with the Stars.. geez.. get them off TV please..

Hope you guys are enjoying your fall.. I need to get inspired to put up my Christmas stuff.. blargh.. My brother Grant & His wife had a baby girl, Ava.. and then my sister Lexi and her husband Brandon, had a baby Boy, Joe.. So I'm an Aunt twice over! Went to see both of the babes, and they are all doing great!
